Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pérade, where history and discovery meet at the crossroads of two rivers!
The town will always remain the World Capital of the Petits Poissons des Chenaux (Tommy cod). Year after year, in mid-December, when ice hardens on the Sainte-Anne River, the outfitters water its surface to increase its volume and improve its security, and they set up these little cabins above holes opening on the water bed. Before long, a genuine snow village is created, ready to receive the thousands of visitors that drop by each year.

And the treasures offered by this Eastern Mauricie region are not confined to tommy cods and ice fishing in the wintertime.
Located only 50 kilometers away from Trois-Rivières, Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pérade represents more than 300 years of history. This territory is proud of its flourishing patrimony and it offers a multitude of varied attractions.

Visit our museums, travel up and down ancestral properties, pick up basketfuls of fresh fruits. In spring, the sugar shacks open up their doors. During the summertime, the fields fill the air with the smell of strawberries and raspberries, and in autumn, the trees in the orchards, heavy with delicious apples, paint a breathtaking, colourful canvas on a leafy and pine trees background.

Discover the region by car, on foot or by bicycle, delight yourself with the local gastronomy, and have a well deserved rest in an intimate inn or a cozy motel. The only limit to your discovery quest will be the time you spend with us!

Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pérade, in all seasons, represents Quebec in its most heart-warming and in its most enchanting.
